Hello all. It seems that this thread got sidetracked a little from the original issue. I'm glad to see that Red Hot Toys' problem was solved, as sending review emails before the customer actually received the item would be a nuisance and pointless.
I have a feeling, however, that the original issue still remains. Can someone please clarify if Yotpo is still sending review requests to people who have opted out of marketing at checkout?
If this is still the case, I can say in no uncertain terms that using this app is against the law. The fines per infraction are over $10,000.
It seems such a simple thing to fix. The mailchimp app doesn't put people on the newsletter if they have opted out of marketing. Can Yotpo not do the same thing?
