Sure, we could inflate the quantity-- but having an automatic function where the product is indicated as backordered would save a lot of apologetic emails from being sent out about an order being out of stock.
What I am worried about the the Assistant is its effect on inventory and order mapping for pick sheets. I am unclear whether the bundling functionality actually places an order for several items or the name is just misleading and it actually does the job of linking inventories.
Also, when they buy a product from the synced inventory, does it update all of the inventories or just when they buy the "bundled" product? For example. lets say Var1 is linked to Var2 and Var3-- Does the inventory of Var2 and Var3 only update when Var1 is purchased? Do I need to create a separate task for each Var to update? That seems roundabout and unnecessary for what I am trying to accomplish.
Thanks again for the help
