I feared that would be the case.
It would be a great advantage, in fact crucial, for me and other sellers in the clothing and footwear trade to market our products like our competitors and I would be very interested indeed to be kept up to date if shopify could allow for this.
The shopify platform has got my store off the ground with minimum cost but in the long term the limitations of dealing with the product variants would make me consider a bespoke eCommerce site specifically for Clothing/footwear.
Other than that I cant rate shopify highly enough.
