My Specifications:

We are looking to create an app on Shopify platform to connect shopify to a marketplace solution. We have gone through the dev shop and app creation process and successfully created a dummy app. But we are struggling to understand where to write the code/ logic behind the app and how can connect app to store with business logic?

Also, wanted to check if we will be able to access shopify database from the app using the code/api etc?
