https://apps.shopify.com/supple-wholesale integrates with Shopify customer records. A wholesaler is just a tagged customer.
You can add your sales staff to your admin accounts, and grant them access ONLY to Customers. They won't access anything else.
A salesman can then create a customer record, tag it with "Wholesale" (for example, you can choose any tag), then click the top-right button to send an invite to that customer.
Customer gets a link, enters a password, and he's in the store having access to Wholesale discounts.
A salesman can also tag existing customer accounts, which have been already created.
