Hi,
I am using the Facebook Store app on my FB page and initially it seemed like a fantastic solution but I have a few questions that I cannot make head nor tail of. The store is here: https://www.facebook.com/jellyandmustard/
1. I have used a CSV to import my products, using the sample one as a starting point. Some have not imported but I put this down to incorrect image urls or similar. I will investigate that later. However, there are many items that are listed in Shopify that are not appearing in the store. An example is my Christmas collection. Only one item (Magic Snow) was showing up. When I looked in the Shopify back-end at the Christmas collection all the items that should be there were there. When I clicked into one of theose items to check the fields everything seemed to be OK. However I just clicked 'save' and hey presto, the item appeared on the FB store. I don't really want to have to go through every product individually to click 'save' just to make it appear. I have tried hiding and then publishing all products in bulk but it makes no difference.
2. I have set up a number of collections but some of these (eg 'Fire Service') are being duplicated on the FB page. There is definitley only one instance in the Shopify back-end however.
3. I am finding that when I try a test purchase, be it from my Facebook login or my wife's totally unaffiliated FB account, I do not have the option to add items to a basket. Instead I can only buy one item at a time. Is this the intended functionality?
4. Also when trying to purchase items with variations on the iPhone 6, it is not possible to view or select the variations. This problem is actually in the other Shopify account that I set up for a different business at https://www.facebook.com/outhausco/
Sorry for the long post but I've searched this forum and all the settings and am now at a bit of a loss and beginning to think that a solution that had so much promise may not be the ticket after all :(
