I've been having way too many issues trying to get my product up on Google Shopping. A while ago before Google require UPC codes, I knew they were still vital and went and tracked all 1100 products and inputed the appropriate UPC for each item in a .CSV file using Meta Tagger well before Variant Barcode was an option. This was in Shopify Classic. We never had any issue with our feeds with Google. In between now and then, I've had to step away from the website and focus more on brick and mortar operations, but recently have come back to with a stronger effort.
Within the past week, I've realized with the upgrade to Shopify 2 and the new Variant barcode, somehow all of our UPC codes were lost. I bit the bullet and was able to reformat this info in both the Variant Barcode column in our product.csv as well as in the UPC column of the Meta Tagger .csv file. Two days ago, each product in the admin view would display the proper UPC in the meta field box and inside the variant Barcode. All was well! The issue I"m now facing is Google Shopping App is refusing our feed because 5% of our products don't have UPC codes. While we still want to sell on our site, we'd like to sell the products with UPC codes on Google shopping. Because the feed keep getting rejected I've even tried Retail Tower app. Problem with Retail App is its generating a feed with the wrong UPC codes applied to the wrong products. I'm at a complete loss. And on top of that, it seems ever since I've installed the Google Shopping App, I too have lose the UPC Metafield information I uploaded with the Meta Tagger App. Seems as if there is a serious bug communicating feeds between Shopify and it's apps both created in house and 3rd party as well as Google Merchant Center. PLEASE HELP... CYBER MONDAY IS APPROACHING..
Thanks Scott
