I would be very appreciative for any help with this.I've searched the forums and Google, and I have placed a call to Shopify support, and still have not received an answer.
In order to get any appreciable traffic to our products on Google Shopping with an Adwords shopping campaign, our products will need to be searchable accross Brand+Product Name queries. This is not the case currently.
I've had a campaign going for 3 days and have received zero clicks, due to this issue. I can find my products in Google Shopping by appending the search with our website branding, so I know the products are there, but nowhere in any product listing is there a reference to the brand i.e. vendor. However, when I open up the Google Shopping app, and click on a product to "edit product" in the App, the vendor is shown clear as day right up on top next to the Google Category etc. The shopify support document for this app states that Brand is a required field and that our feeds will use Vendor for this data. I have looked into my merchant account for any settings that control this, and found nothing. Also, I edited my product.liquid file to output "Vendor - Product Name" in the H1 tag, that is just controlling the output for the website, it probably will do no good in updating the Google Shopping feed, since that is presumably database driven.
Possibly I am overlooking something simple, it seems that this would be a major issue for others, yet I am not seeing any discusion about it and the support person hadn't heard the question before.
For reference, the site is styleinvyte.com . An example brand and product query: Snowman New York Huntress jacket
Thanks for any insights everyone.
