Eli here from the Shopify Guru team. I checked in on this with the in-house developer of the app itself, and there currently isn't an expected exit date from Beta for the Google Shopping app. However, it's worth keeping a couple of things in mind.
- In this case, "beta" is a moniker dedicated more to the fact that we are constantly tweaking the app and adapting it to Google's standards than it is in an indicator of "Readiness." That is to say, the app is still completely usable, in the same way GMail was during its nearly-decade long "Beta" period.
- We still support, maintain, and help storeowners out with the app, and are no less committed to the quality of the app.
