Hello! I am new to Shopify and have a few questions before I can consider Shopify for my needs (really trying to stay away from WP at all costs). Any help on the following subject matter is appreciated.
I work for a manufacturer that does not sell directly to or release pricing to consumers. I know there is an option to create a 'Members Only' store, which seems as if it may work, however, because we do not sell directly to consumers, we have to approve accounts to make sure that the average Joe isn't buying from our store. Wondering if anyone knows of any apps that can address the following questions:
1. Is there a way to hide pricing until a member logs in? Ideally, the store would just be an online catalog without pricing until a member logs in.
2. Is there a way to be able to approve members before they are able to login? Ideally, we would get an email saying that someone has signed up for our website and we can go and confirm their credentials before approving the account.
