Questions Regarding using Pythong/Django to Build a Shopify App by Hussien

At the moment we’re leaning towards Python/Django to build our first shopify app and we just have a few questions/concerns before we get started.

1) Given Shopify is natively writing in RoR are there any known limitations or even teeny tiny caveats we should keep in mind before finalizing this decision?

2) Also more importantly we have some questions around versioning. From what we can tell it looks like your SDK library currently only has support for Python 2. Python 3 is now out and all new feature additions will be in 3, we’re wondering if and when you plan to support this update?

3)Is there a technical reason this is the case, or is it just a timing issue? Or more generally - what do your expected timing windows look like when it comes to updating this type of support?

4) With regards to Django, again similar versioning concern, is there a particular version you recommend, or know of caveats or limitations in the current api or sdk. The current version is 1.6.2.

5) Finally we’re also wondering if there are any example “large” or “enterprise” scale apps that you can point us to as a reference point, that might help accelerate our productivity.

TLDR version: Is Python 3 going to be supported soon? Does using Pythong/Django to build Shopify Apps have any limitations we should know of?
