@K&J this is something we have been thinking about a solution for. The reason it is still $1244 is because its a pending payment and because there are quite a few payment methods that are using the pending status it can't be taken for granted that the $1244 payment hasn't been received already. An example of this is the original order is $1244 and the store accepts bank transfers. The customer might have already transferred $1244 and this just hasn't been marked as received yet. In this case $1244 is the right payment amount and the store owner needs to actually organise a refund back to the customer.
