I've been checking out different shopify apps including ones from boldapp and skyverge. From what I can tell, they don't actually increase the functionality at all - just make it faster to set up something - for example, discounting to a certain group of people, etc. Am I missing something or are these apps just largely shortcuts to anything that can already be done? What is the purpose of buying?
